On page 15 there’s an advertisement for the new Fellowship Diary and Calendar Editor, as the current editor rotates out of the post later this year.
This is an editor for the AA Diary and Calendar which are created as a joint publication for both Roundabout and for our Share fellows, and the role is open to readers of either or both publications. The current editor is actually based in Europe. It would be great if this time round a Scottish editor were to be appointed.
I know many of our readers have an excellent eye for photography, so I do encourage you to look at the ad and have a think about it. I can assure you there would be lots of support available from your fellow Sub-Committee members.
In the June issue I made a dreadful error, a real howler. Did you spot it? If so, I might encourage you to think about becoming a Roundabout proof-reader! If not, don’t worry - I’m sure there will be more to come. My tenure as editor is all about progress not perfection, but I’m grateful the Programme allows me to be serene about the things I don’t get right, while striving to do better next time.
