This 10th June 2025 marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of our Fellowship. In addition to celebrating Founders Day, this year our Fellowship in Great Britain celebrates its 78th Anniversary.

Every five years the Fellowship of AA in GB and English Speaking Continental Europe undertakes a membership wide survey.

Our Advertising Campaign of 1st July 2024 continues its national poster site campaign.

AA is run by its members, all of whom are alcoholics. There are 4,400 AA meetings in the UK each week and a worldwide membership of two million.

In a significant development for Alcoholics Anonymous, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has published the Quality Standard (QS11) on alcohol-use disorders (AUDs) as part of its commitment to enhance treatment practices in England and Wales.

We are thrilled to announce that the first National Advertising Campaign will commence on Monday 1st July at some 60 sites across the country.
