Trustee Dr Kieran Moriarty, Honorary Consultant Gastroenterologist and Liver Specialist, has been bestowed the honour of a Knight of the Pontifical Order of Saint Gregory the Great (KSG) by Pope Leo XIV. This is in recognition of his contribution to the Catholic Church and to the wider community, specifically to Alcoholics Anonymous, creating the NICE Alcohol Guidance, the Government, and to pioneering hospital Alcohol Care Teams, for which he received the CBE from Her Majesty the Queen in 2002”
