Health Sub Committee Role Requirements

Requirements & responsibilities for the Health Sub-Committee.

Create and action policy on behalf of the General Service Board and Conference

Support to Regional and Intergroup Health Liaison Officers by providing information, advice, and resources.

Create and develop communications with and between Regional and Intergroup Health Liaison Officers e.g. virtual and live meetings and seminars.

Increase awareness of Alcoholics Anonymous and the 12 Step programme with professionals in the health sector.

Good understanding of the AA Structure, Traditions and Concepts.

Work within the Terms of Reference for the Health Sub Committee.

The Health Sub Committee meets four times a year in York and/or online. If unable to attend apologies should be submitted in advance to the Trustee.

Follow the General Service Board’s Safeguarding Policy for all projects and meetings.

Health Sub Committee Roles & Responsibilities is subject to annual review and approval by the GSB.
