Working With Professionals and the Community

Are You Looking for Help with Your Own Drinking?

If you are concerned about your drinking and think you may need help, please contact the free Alcoholics Anonymous helpline on 0800 917 7650 or email [email protected].

This page is for organisations and professionals who would like to understand more about Alcoholics Anonymous and how AA may help the people they work with.

Wiltshire & Bath Intergroup works with professionals, organisations and community groups across Wiltshire and Bath to help them understand Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), how it works and how it may help someone with a drinking problem.

Our Liaison Officers help carry the AA message by providing clear, practical information about Alcoholics Anonymous to people who may come into contact with someone whose drinking is causing concern.

Helping You Understand Alcoholics Anonymous

You may meet, work with or support people who are struggling with their drinking without knowing what help is available or where to direct them.

Our Liaison Officers can explain what Alcoholics Anonymous is, what happens at an AA meeting and how someone can find help. We can also provide information and literature in print and digital formats, and arrange talks, presentations and workshops for professionals, organisations, students and community groups.

This is a free service: There is no charge for talks, visits or information provided by Alcoholics Anonymous.
