About IN-PERSON meetings:
Anyone wishing to attend any of these meetings about alcoholism can simply turn up (there’s no need to contact anyone in advance, but please see the details explanaining ‘Open’ and ‘Closed’ AA meetings below).

The doors to the meetings tend to open 30 minutes before the meeting start times unless otherwise stated. Teas, Coffees & biscuits may be available.

Anyone can attend ‘Open’ meetings. ‘Closed’ meetings are for alcoholics only.  If a non-alcoholic wishes to attend a ‘Closed’ meeting they can ask for it to be made an ‘Open’ meeting subject to the group conscience on the day (if anyony member objects then the non-alcoholic may be politely asked to leave/ some members may speak to them outside etc).
