The following Public Information (PI) and other Intergroup events are planned. These events are aimed at helping the still-suffering alcoholic and raising awareness of alcoholism and AA as a potential solution in the local community and amongst local organisations such as hospitals, prisons/ probation,  charities, employers, schools etc.

Events Calendar:

• PI. Every 3 months, November 2025 onwards: Boscombe.
  Public Information (PI) are raising awareness in the Sovereign Centre from 10am to 3pm. Any AA member who’d like to help and/ or see what’s involved can just go along. You’ll see the AA table and banners there. Email [email protected] for exact dates and more information.
• PI. Every 3 months, November 2025 onwards: ASDA PI
  We set up our stand on two separate superstores and hope that our presence plants the seed and to carry the message of hope! Email [email protected] for exact dates and more information.
• Bournemouth Convention 2026
  is on the earlier date of 21st – 23rd August 2026 and been re-branded “Sobriety in the Sunshine”. Tickets are currently on sale! For further information see Bournemouth Convention 2026 (external website).

Volunteers to do Service at these events are always needed. Please email the PILO at: [email protected] to join. We suggest you have discussed this with your sponsor before you decide this is for you. We also ask that you have worked through or are currently working through the 12 Steps & 12 Traditions.
