Borders & East Lothian Intergroup
Welcome. This website is designed to assist anyone seeking information about Alcoholics Anonymous in the Borders & East Lothian Intergroup (BELI) area. Our intergroup exists to serve and support the AA groups within our area.
There are about 30 weekly AA Group meetings in the area. They are listed at the bottom of this page.
Please click on the MEETING FINDER and use the find a meeting option for confirmation of which meetings are open and for zoom details for hybrid or online meetings. Enter SCOTIA as the region, and Borders and East Lothian for the intergroup.
Open Meetings, intended for both alcoholics and non-alcoholics (e.g. family, friends and other people interested in learning more about AA such as medical professionals). The rest will be Closed Meetings, intended for alcoholics and those with an alcohol problem who have a desire to stop drinking. At all meetings the anonymity of those attending is to be respected.
GROUPS – please update your details online using the Submit Your Meeting Information form in the AA Meetings section on the AA website and then send a copy to our Intergroup Electronic Communications Officer (see the BELI contacts HERE)
