“Into Action” is the title of Chapter Four of the Big Book, and although I feel anxious and a bit fearful about taking over as editor of Roundabout, I know that taking action is the only way to overcome these. Over the years this Fellowshipmhas taught me many things. Among them: just do it, you’re not alone, fake it to make it. So - deep breath - and trying to look and act with a confidence I don’t feel, I’ll thank my predecessor Cath, who did such a magnificent job, and who is giving me so much help and support, and sit down in the editor’s chair.
It’s an honour to find myself here. This month’s theme is Steps Two and Three, the steps when we pick ourselves up from the darkness of the last drink and reach out a hand to find the hand of the Higher Power who will lead us up to the sunshine of sobriety.
