Editorial
This issue celebrates 75 years since our first issue was created in February 1951 - a full copy of which you can read on pages 27-31. The front cover is based on our previous Yearbook designs and the lantern image was used on many of the earlier issues of Roundabout. A history of the magazine can be found on page 21. As this issue goes to print, we are incredibly low on articles for future issues. Therefore, as printed in the very first issue, “We ask you to ‘buckle to’ and let us have your contribution for the next issue.” Articles can be anything from 90 words to 900 (or more). Please consider sending in a contribution to ensure Roundabout can be packed with shares from our Fellowship in the future. Some groups, Intergroups and Regions have started to send an article, with members taking it in turns to take on the Service role each month - a great idea! On a personal note, this editorial is likely to be one of my last as I have started the process of handing over to our new editor. It has been a pleasure to do Service on the Roundabout Subcommittee for nearly six years and I look forward to many years of reading, subscribing and contributing in the future!
