A Weekend by the Sea

There is something special about gathering by the coast.

With the beach just across the road and the sea air all around us, Jersey offers a beautiful setting in which to pause, reconnect, and enjoy time together.

There will be opportunities throughout the weekend to enjoy the island in fellowship, including a beach walk and coach trip, as well as space to simply rest, reflect, and be present

A Safe Harbour

This year’s theme reminds us of the shelter, hope, and guidance we find in recovery and in one another.

“Every man and woman who has joined A.A. and intends to stick has, without realizing it, made a beginning on Step Three. Isn’t it true that in all matters touching upon alcohol, each of them has decided to turn his or her life over to the care, protection, and guidance of Alcoholics Anonymous? … Any willing newcomer feels sure A.A. is the only safe harbor for the foundering vessel he has become. Now if this is not turning one’s will and life over to a newfound Providence, then what is it?”

“Lighthouses don’t go running all over an island looking for boats to save; they just stand there shining.”
— Anne Lamott
