The following positions are available at Glasgow Regional Intergroup.

PILO – Public Information Liaison Officer

“Public Information (PI) in AA means carrying the message of
Recovery to the still suffering Alcoholic by Informing the general
public about the AA Programme”

TLO – Telephone Liaison Officer

An AA Telephone Liaison Officer (TLO) coordinates the local

AA helpline, managing calls from suffering alcoholics, connecting

them with local groups or 12-step responders, ensuring smooth

service, upholding anonymity, and coordinating volunteers,

essentially acting as the bridge between those seeking help

and the fellowship’s support system, often with support from

a subcommittee and reporting to Intergroup.

CJSWS – Probation/Criminal Justice Social Work Services
“Experience has shown that positive results can follow when
groups, intergroups and regions co-operate with the offender
management service with a view to helping the still suffering
alcoholic”

RRLO – Regional Roundabout Liaison Officer

“AA produces a number of different publications in support of our
primary purpose. The fellowship has two monthly magazines –
Share for our whole fellowship. And Roundabout with a focus on
Scotland”

1) Service with graphic design skills to help create posters and materials
2) Service by helping distribute posters about AA to local shops and other public facilities as part of a walkabout group.

The Glasgow Flourish in Fellowship 

The event is taking place 19 – 21 June 2026

Location: Trades Hall of Glasgow

 

34TH WELSH NATIONAL CONVENTION 2026

 

We are delighted to announce that the Welsh National Convention 2026 is in the calendar! The convention will once again bring together members from across the UK for a weekend of fellowship, recovery, and service in the beautiful Welsh town of Llandrindod Wells.

This is an English-speaking convention with Welsh language meetings available. Al-Anon family groups will also be in attendance.

Registration will be £15, payable on arrival. This covers the entire weekend or any part of it.

Rooms are available to book directly with the Metropole Hotel. Please contact the hotel directly to make your reservation. All room pricing details can be found on our dedicated web page.
