The London Online Intergroup supports online groups of Alcoholics Anonymous who consider themselves to be based in London England.

 

London Online Intergroup Terms of reference

1. The aims of an Intergroup are to aid the constituent groups in their common purpose of carrying the AA message to the still suffering alcoholic and, by using their combined strength and unity to improve and maintain good relations with all organizations in the community.
2. The London Online Intergroup supports online groups of Alcoholics Anonymous who consider themselves to be based in London England.
3. The specific purpose of the London Online Intergroup is to (a) Provide the opportunity for AA members who are unable to attend a geographical Intergroup to be able to attend and carry out service at Intergroup. (b) Give online groups based in London the opportunity to become part of an Intergroup and thus connect with the service structure of Alcoholics Anonymous Great Britain. (c) Provide general support, technical support and Guidance for online groups including sharing experience of safeguarding within meetings. (d) Provide guidance to signpost members towards taking part in services such as prisons, public information health etc.

4. London Online Intergroup has joined London Region North and is connected via London Region North to Alcoholics Anonymous Great Britain.
5. The treasurer has responsibility for keeping proper accounts of all finances and ensuring that funds are available for its essential requirements. Surplus funds should always be transferred promptly to GSO via the regional treasurer.
6. The minutes of the meeting and any other related documents should be distributed to the groups so there is ample time to discuss the contents.
