June 2026 Extra-ordinary "Safeguarding" Intergroup Meeting Held

On June 14/6/26 the planned Extra-ordinary “Safeguarding” Intergroup Meeting was held at the peak centre in Huyton as planned.

The Meeting discussed matters arrising from the resent conference assembly regarding safe guarding.

The chair, Tom B. Voiced conncerns and the groups attending had an oppertunity to discuss their feelings on the “SafeGuarding” concerns.

Questions for the GSRs to take back to the groups for discussion

A) Should we avoid using the term ‘Safeguarding’ and instead adopt the term ‘Common Welfare?’

B) Should we abandon the role of Safeguarding Officer within our groups and Intergroup.
Instead trust the Group Conscience to deal with any issues that may arise?

April 2026 Intergrouop

◼Liverpool city intergroup was held at the Peake Centre in Huyton on Sunday 12th April 2026.

◼There where a number of group officers rotaing out of posstions and elections held to replace the officors

◼There are a number of group officer posts remaining vacant.

◼Two Liverpool City Intergroup delegates will be attending York GSO to attend the annual Conference to discuss question for conference. The questions for conferene where discussed at Liverpool City Intergroup, then at North West Region.
