Today I am Free

I grew up in a family of five and I became the problem when I was old enough to drink. It started off as enjoyment and made me feel good, so I had a lot of good times in fancy bars and clubs at weekends and a few beers at night in our local. I was soon to discover hangovers and blackouts, and I thought that’s what happens when you get drunk. As my drinking progressed the good times were fewer, and I began to miss work a lot. Our local pub got a licence to open at 8.00am Monday to Saturday – what a relief to know I could get a drink first thing in the morning.
