London AA Convention 2024
As you may have already heard, the London AA Convention 2024 will now be held mostly at the Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge, as it was this year, although it will be expanded a little and include extra Friday evening capacity at the Tower Hotel. There is an approximately 12 minute walk between the two hotels.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, but it has been outside our control. This is due to the remedial building work required to the conference facilities at the Tower Hotel, which we have been informed will not have been completed by the time of the convention next year.
For members who have already booked a hotel room at the Tower Hotel then this has not in itself changed, but we have managed to negotiate some room rates at the Leonardo Royal, and it may be that some may prefer to swap bookings to there, particularly if there are mobility concerns.
This is entirely possible but those arrangements are outside of our scope and the hotels would need to be contacted directly to organise.
However we expect lots of fellowship members staying at both hotels, so choice should really be about price, facilities and location. The Leonardo Royal is more convenient for the meetings and events on Saturday and Sunday but is more expensive. The Tower Hotel has better views!
Rooms are still available at both hotels. Prices remain unchanged at the Tower Hotel, and rates together with links for the Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge will be available on the website soon, but in the meantime here are the rates we have negotiated which you can pass on:

Saturday 4th May £299.00 per room
Sunday 5th May £199.00 per room
These prices include breakfast and there is a £20 supplement for double occupancy, and £70 per night for triple occupancy. You can phone the hotel directly on 0207 959 5000, quoting the AA convention weekend to secure the rates.
There are of course other hotels in the area, such as Travelodge London Central Tower Bridge which if booked early is likely to be cheaper.
