Extract from the AA Service Handbook

3.2 Email

Electronic email is a widely used and accepted method of communication. It is cheap effective and very fast – and is used regularly as a service tool in AA. It is, therefore, vitally important to ensure that our use of this facility conforms to our traditions, and special care has to be given to guarding the anonymity of our members. It is recommended that the Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) option is used when emailing multiple addresses, unless all recipients have agreed otherwise.

To BCC your email simply type in your own address into the To window and place the addressee’s into the BCC window. The BCC window is sometimes hidden behind the CC window so you must select the CC option and BCC should appear.

The outcome should be that only your address (already present in the senders field) appears in the To field and  the recipients address appears in the CC field. All other addressee’s will not be visible.
