You are cordially invited to the Annual Presentation of Alcoholics Anonymous hosted by Peredur Owen Griffiths AS/MS.
Our aim is to help professionals and parliamentarians get a better understanding of Alcoholics Anonymous. One of our key objectives is to dispel the myth that AA is in any way a ‘secret society’. While our members are anonymous, our organisation is most definitely not.
Alcoholics Anonymous is free and 1000’s of people in recovery are testament that it works. We are not allied with any religious or other body, and we are self-supporting through our own contributions. We exist to help suffering alcoholics recover from the illness of alcoholism.
The presentation will include:
- Welcome and opening remarks from Peredur Owen Griffiths AS/MS
- A presentation from the Trustee for Wales and Borders Region of Alcoholics Anonymous
- A presentation from the Chair of Wales & Borders Region of Alcoholics Anonymous
- An AA Video
- ‘Real life’ experiences from two alcoholics in recovery
- Questions & Answers session from the floor
- Buffet refreshments
There is no charge for the event.
