Roundabout Sub-committee Notice Board

Vacancies for Assistant Editor and Link Liaison Officer

We are inviting applicants from all regions of Scotland to join the Roundabout Subcommittee as there are currently two vacancies; an Assistant Editor and a new role of Link Liaison Officer. These would both be for a service period of four years.

What do you Require?

A minimum of five years' continuous sobriety; a high standard of English literacy; a proficiency in computer technology; the ability to work as part of a team and be flexible. Service as a Roundabout Liaison Officer at group, intergroup or regional level would also be advantageous, but is not essential.

What are the Roles?

The Assistant Editor supports the Editor to produce the monthly magazine. They will shadow the Editor, training and ensuring they are able to produce a number of editions themselves each year, along with the associated admin, with a view to then becoming Editor during rotation.

The Link Liaison Officer will establish and maintain regular contact with the intergroup and regional Roundabout Liaison Officers.

If you are interested in joining us and would like a full vacancy description or to speak to one of the current Subcommittee members to discuss the roles further, please contact Terri, the Roundabout Trustee at: trustee.highlandsregion@gsogb.org.uk

The closing date for applications is 25 July 2021.
