Lanarkshire West Intergroup

The Lanarkshire West Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous comprises 26 meetings per week all taking place in the ML3, ML10, G71 and G72 postcodes. 

These meetings are held throughout the week, in the morning, afternoon, evening and late evening.

"The aims of an intergroup are to aid the constituent groups in their common purpose of carrying the AA message to the still suffering alcoholic and, by using their combined strength and unity, to improve and maintain good relations with all organisations in the community."  The AA Structure Handbook for Great Britain 2018, Pg87 Para. 4

We currently have three Service positions vacant within our Intergroup:

Health Liaison Officer

Employment Liaison Officer

Social Secretary

West Lanarkshire Intergroup meets approximately every six weeks on a Thursday at 7:30pm (for 8.00pm) at the Jimmy Swinburne Centre, 9 Cemetery Rd, Blantyre,  G72 0HA.
