Dear Share team,

Thank you for your continuous hard work in putting our fabulous magazine together. I believe it to be a great assistance in our 'common welfare.' When I first joined the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous the only welfare I was concerned about was my own. How could the rest of the members have anything to do with my recovery? Although I assumed that they were there for the same reason, but I still did not think their recovery was any of my business.

Thankfully and with the help of a sponsor, I worked my way through the Traditions and discovered that our common welfare is so very important to all members of AA. Without it our groups would not gather and care for each other. I would not survive alone, and I need the AA group far more than it needs me.

There are many varieties of people in the Fellowship. I believe, as we trudge this road of happy destiny, that I need every one of them.
