Ayr Wednesday Night Group, (20.00), 8 Green Street Lane, Ayr, Postcode: KA8 8BL . Ayr Wednesday Night Group is the oldest group in Ayrshire and one of the oldest in Scotland. Originally formed in 1950, it had a few homes until settling in the County Building in Ayr's Wellington Square in 1960. On 5th April 2016 we relocate to the Burgh/District Court Room in Ayr Town Hall. On 2nd August 2017 this group re-located to 8 Green Street Lane, Ayr, KA8 8BH It is an "open" meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous, members, newcomers and anyone interested in AA are very welcome. Definition of Open and Closed Meetings:The Closed Meeting; is intended for alcoholics and for those with an alcohol problem who have a desire to stop drinking.The Open Meeting; is intended for alcoholics and non alcoholics e.g. family, friends and anyone interested in AA.
