Meeting Tradition 7 Online
Digital banking methods
Online groups chose various digital banking methods to meet Tradition 7. The most widely used methods of transferring monies to Group, Intergroup, Region and GSO were by Bank Transfer, Paypal* (other platforms are available), Direct Debit, and Standing Order. The Fellowship recognised that anonymity was likely to be compromised with these online banking methods. One Intergroup provided a linked bank account for all its Groups, making the forwarding of money hassle free.
The Fellowship suggested that payments flow through the structure of AA, from group, to intergroup, region then GSO, ensuring that each level of the Fellowship remains fully self-supporting, including a prudent reserve.
