For the Newcomer: Read or Listen to the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous

As with any intergroup, South Intergroup's aim is to aid the constituent groups in their common purpose of carrying the AA message to the still suffering alcoholic and, by using their combined strength and unity, to improve and maintain good relations with all organisations in the community (pg 86The AA Structure Handbook for Great Britain ).

With this aim in mind AA have made an online copy and an audio copy of the Big, Book  to help the still-suffering alcoholic identify for themselves if they have a problem and if so, our solution to the problem.
