Meetings

North East Regional Assembly (NERA) meets at the village hall in Strensall, near York (YO32 5XP). Meetings are held on Sunday mornings.  Meetings start at 1030 and usually end around 1445. A free lunch is provided for all attendees (officers and observers). Notification of all meetings will be given via this web page. Upcoming meetings are as follows:

  • October 20th 2013 Service Workshop
  • January 19th 2014 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Morning Session (1030-1215)

The morning session is reserved for regional business and is concerned with service officers reports, election of officers, finance and other AA business. Only Regional Representatives and officers may vote. Observers and visitors are always very welcome, but may not participate unless invited by the Chair to do so.   

Afternoon Session (1300-1445)

The afternoon session is dedicated to one or more AA Service topics, and takes the form of an open forum. All members attending are welcome to participate throughout the afternoon session and are encouraged to do so.
