Can't stop drinking once I start?

If you are finding it difficult to stop drinking, we at AA are here to help.

Do you ever find that you cannot stop drinking once you start?  Has your drinking has reached the point of where it worries you?  Find out more about Alcoholics Anonymous and the AA programme of recovery from alcoholism.

It may be the case that after reading this brief outline you decide that AA has nothing to offer you.
If so, we suggest only that you keep an open mind on the subject. Take the time to consider your drinking carefully following what you learn from this website.

You can determine for yourself whether or not alcohol has truly become a problem for you.  Remember that you will always be most welcome to join the thousands of men and women in AA who have put their drinking problems and concerns behind them and now lead "normal" lives of constructive, day by day sobriety.
