IMPORTANT NOTICE (January 7, 2017)
aamail.org

On Friday 6 January, there was a problem with our new email system which necessitated some changes. There was a period of about 6 hours during which some incoming emails may have been lost; but anything before or after that time should still be there.

Anyone logging into the email server will find that the Horde application is no longer the default, and will see Roundcube instead. Some users have reported that they cannot login from the webaddress:

https://webmail.aamail.org/imp/login.php

If you use instead:

https://webmail.aamail.org

then you should find that the same username and password still work. Please let us know if you continue to have problems. Use this contact address:

We apologise for this disruption.

Electronic Communications Sub Committee

=====================================

The Electronic Communications Sub Committee is deploying a new email system to replace the old one.

At the moment (end of October, 2016) we are making available the new email boxes to all existing users of full mailboxes on the old system. If you have not had a notice of migration in your old mailbox, then please contact us on the Helpline.

In early November, we will send a message to all users of forwarders on the old system. Anyone who does not reply to that message will have their forwarders discontinued when the old system is switched off.

We expect to have the above steps completed by the end of November 2016.

We are now inviting those without current mailboxes to apply to have one on the new system. Any individual Officer who is in the Confidential Directory may apply to the Helpline, but if you are not yet listed in the Directory then please ask your Secretary or Chair to confirm your appointment.

At a later date, we will invite officebearers who are NOT in the Confidential Directory to apply for addresses. (Examples might be 'Convention Convenor' or 'WtF Coordinator'.)

Please read the document below concerning acceptable use of the Email System.

ACCEPTABLE USE OF THE EMAIL SYSTEM may be read here.
